I have the Boss MEB, a somewhat more tricked-out version of the MEB. I think the MEB shines in ease-of-use, but I also think the newer Zoom units blow it out of the water for sound quality. Considering that the MEB doesn't appear to have the same ease-of-use as the MEB, I will go with the crowd and recommend checking out Zoom's. Amongst my toys are a Boss ME-6b, a Boss ME-8b and a Zoom But.. IME you can't go wrong with Boss or Zoom.
